Not a great result, but it's not a complete disaster either, as long as we can turn them over at the Emirates. We just need to dig deep and find the ability to play like we did against Real (A) and Juve (H) in last season's Champions League.
Arsenal like to make things difficult for themselves. The easy way just isn't the Arsenal way.
Lille were shafted. Had the situation been reversed(which,of course, it never would have been)we'd have had no end of pish from sir alex about the disgraceful refereing. I suspect Man U are vastly superior to Lille-they shouldnt need the refs help to progress.
I'm fully in agreement with you, mate! And are you seriously telling me that the police reacted like that without ANY provocation from the Manure fans? Doubt it! Shit ref, Lille had a perfectly good goal dissallowed, too!

About the Lille/MU game, it's funny (ok it's not the good word) to see the difference of reaction between the french press and the english press. Apparentely the Gigg's goal was good, but we don't see a lot of goals like that in Ligue 1, so maybe it was the reason of Lille's reaction. I like the fact that no Lille's players reacted after their disallowed goal. We can blame Puel or the crowd, but not the players. Well, it's my point of view.
