We also won 2-0 this weekend, and with our star players like Alex Frei, Olivier Monterubbio, (Champ Manager stars) Kim Kallstorm and Andreas Isaksson, we're soaring up the table (currently 10th), but I've got a good feeling about them. Also, you can listen to the matches on their website www.staderennais.fr so that's another reason to support Rennes, rather than a relegation team such as Bastia. Big Grin

Nice to see Frei scoring again. 2 in two games now. Hopefully we can get back to our early season form again now.

Over the last season we made late charges for a place in europe. Lets hope it comes to fruition again this season.

Is Kallstrom really as good as on Champ Manager?

Fraid not. He's a good player, but he's nothing special imo. He was bought this time last season and was alright. He obviously has more to give but I don't think he'll progress to be as good as in CM.

Aaah, poosacks. We'd be lifting the European Cup by 2008 otherwise.

While I'm thinking about it, what does imo mean Mutu? Am I being thick, and not "down wid it"?

OH I see, ta.

Unsurprising to lose tonight, but 2-1 aint bad. Couldn't listen to the match though, because I was too busy watching the Rams stuff Leeds, and move into the play-offs!!!

You did the business over our lads last night. I thought the win against Stoke was a turning point aswell. Oh well. We've got Brighton And Hove Albion Football Club on saturday so 3 points in the bag there I think.

You only beat Stoke via an own goal! You did look poor last night, and I don't know how you'd won 3 away on the bounce.

It's all down to the phenomonon that is Sean Gregan. Arguablt the best player in Europe right now. An own goal against Stoke is truly admirable anyway! If a team manages to go to Stoke and come out of it with something other than a 0-0 then they should all be given a pay rise.
Any chance we could have Tommy Smith? We need goals.

You'd be wanting Rasiak then, because he's scored 11 in 21 games, and we got him for FREE, just like the WHOLEof our squad (no lie).

OK, I'll make you even happier, and talk about Forest. How are they doing? Not so well? Never mind, because things can only get better now you've got Walsall's (who lost 5-0 on Tuesday) assistant manager. Did you know, there's 18 positions, and 23 points between us now? Big Grin

Do you both think you will get in the playoffs? Im a wolves fan, i still think we have a slim chance of making the top 6! Its a shame to see Leeds where they are,i hope Bates does the business for you! Gud luck 4 the rest of the season!

ie, I don't think they're about to challenge for the play-offs, so I'll persume you mean about Leeds, and no, they won't get there either. We'll finish about 9th I think, because we're punching well above our weight at the mo. Wolves, Hoddle, 16th by the end of the season. I'm sorry, but I don't rate our Glenn at all, and he's not going to reach the play-offs with 1-1 draws (then again, Inter are managing something similar).

Just found out you can listen to clips of the interviews, and press conferences on the site www.staderennais.com It's beneficial to understand Fronch though.

Great effort lads! Climbing up that table, with an important win. Kallstrom came on and hadn't even touched the ball before he was booked (never does that on Champ Man). Nevertheless, it's looking good Big Grin

I still think both of us can make it! Did you go against Brighton?

Back in Oct/Nov? When we won 3-0? Yes I did. The best first half performance I'd seen in years at Pride Park.

3-1, a predictable result.]

A mention to Strasbourg, who beat Caen, the team one place below them in the table, in 17th, 5-0.

Le championnat looks all tied up, with Lyon thrashing Toulouse Frown

Never mind, Derby won AGAIN! Poor forest can't score against a managerless Rotherham Big Grin

Bounced back to winning ways! Then again, if we didn't beat the team who had last lost to Strasbourg 5-0, then there's something wrong, but confidence booster nonetheless.
