Which Dave Gorman Doc? America Unchained?

If so yes, it was great stuff, and although I enjoyed the fact it was all on at one time, it was rather late for many to enjoy, so a repeat would be great More4. Hint hint. Big Grin

But yes well worth the watch, and for sure was hard work, especially avoiding the fuel. Some exceptional people along the way, a real shame about the cafe/community meeting point (Taylors? in Independance (the 1st one Big Grin)) closing down but an eye opener regardless, and nice to know theres as any Americans out there dissatisfied with the way the world is going as we crazy Brits are. Good work Dave once again, never fail to amuse, and often educate along the way. As always much more about the man on his main site, and this program itself is available on DVD should More4 hoard it, I mean not repeat it. Big Grin

As for the advert, I dont remember which one he was on. Ill make a stab if it helps as my fave advert music currently is Arcade Fire - My Body is a Cage, which appears on the More4 True Stories advert. If not this one, youll have to come back with a little more info or even a link if you can sneak it in and Ill try better to help.

Tara for now.

I so agree on the taylors thing, it was real shame, I kept hoping that there would be a twist at the end and someone would have taken over it. I loved the fact he went to loads of independances too thats a crazy link but soething thing like I would do

Yeh know whqat ya mean, I thought the next generation were gonna take it over, lets hope somehow that has happened, and we will get a DG update in time. Big Grin

Also agree on the visiting Indepences as well, and a coupld of them were really nice, believe one of them is where the garage owner came out personally on a cycle and his cat in a cage. Wonderful stuff, and a lesson to us all how to live in communities, if only more of it went on.

I did also see the Dave Gorman series, and also read some of his books which started me on Danny Wallace too, a great men indeed. I even knew a Dave Gorman from school and he was on the program, that made me laugh. But yes had a hint of its excellence when they were comparing tattoos on this, although only Dave had one. What a cracking tattoo though, cartoon passport style. lol. Dont know if this one is DVD, was quite a long series although probably can get somewhere Im sure.

And yaaaay, glad the advert was right, and as said one of my faves too, and the music is just wonderful. The albums are worth getting although very eclectic. But still, glad you posted, and getting hold of. A pleasure to have helped. Big Grin
