I was making some discreet enquiries about the Knights Templar on certain occult, Masonic and conspiracy message boards online and the words of a rather shady and mysterious (and untraceable) character got my attention.
The messenger said he'd heard whispers of rumours of allegations, etc., that in a forthcoming Channel 4 & More4 documentary to be titled "Da Vinci Decoded" and screened in mid-May, a genuine modern Templar is going to be interviewed in an secret underground Templar cave in Hertfordshire!
I've been trying to trace the modern Knights Templar all my life: not the Masonic Templars or a modern group, this is the original medieval Templar organisation which went underground in England between 1307 and 1309 while the inquisition tortured and slaughtered Templars in France (and to some extent elsewhere.) England naturally became a bolthole for fugitive Templars, whose bonds were only made stronger by their shared victimisation.
The order remains based in Hertfordshire to this day and it is possible that they posess great treasures. (The king searched in vain for the treasure of Temple Dinsley but the real 'treasure' may be found in the Templars' secret teachings.
Please, if anybody knows anything about this documentary, let me know. I must see it. This is very important to a great many many people.
Altus With your permission I would like to copy/post this on another forum (the da vinci code forum). See if we get any response. It sounds very interesting.
Please do not help this individual "Altus", remember you know nothing about him. Bad things sometimes happen to those who meddle in other people's affairs, it's a fact of Life.
This documentary is an outrage before G-d and I advise you not to watch it. It's a load of nonsense anyway and the only shreds of sense are taken wildly out of context.
In fact frankly it's a dangerous illusion: smoke and mirrors designed to make you think exactly what they want you to think.
Don't watch it. And don't help Mr. Greenjack, let alone Mr. "Altus" as he calls himself.
(Have you paused to consider what Altus means? I'll give you a clue: It's latin.)
"Seek and ye shalt find." (But you might not like it.)
A merry Mayday message for you, Jack in the Green, I think you will find it special -
Green Jack
Green branches carried through green leaves, Green man, green king falls to his knees, Wined and danced throughout the day, Time for the sacrifice to pay
Ancient Lune who hauls the tide, Gazes down, her great eye wide, Her ancient power tugs souls and seas, And makes men leap in lunacy
Amid the stones a winding dance, Maidens wand'ring deep in trance, Behold the Mother's Number, Nine, Recall the Labyrinth wound with twine?
Stones and grass are splashed with red, Ecstatic cries, "The king is dead!" King of Green, king for a day, Gift of blood for the first of May.
This topic always attract a few harmless nutters, take no notice.
The poem is an interesting one though it's by Ben Acheson who is one of the few people moving Templar those circles prepared to talk about them. Any reason why would you find it particularly special though, Greenjack?
I just have a particular interest in the green man, hence my forum name. Will be going to the may day celebrations at hastings on monday where he is symbolically slain & reborn. they tend to recite poems a bit like this during the ceremonies.
if you're into the Mysteries, Greenjack, then it seems likely that Nex is actually trying to say something to you personally, albeit rather cryptically (that's how these people work.)
Gnostics believe that like the phoenix we can all be reborn and live forever if we come to know our true essential selves, basically as living gods. This is at the heart of the Templars' beliefs. "Know Thyself" was carved at the temple of the Oracle at Delphi and was tought by the great Greek philosophers as the only true route to wisdom.
For the record "Nex" can mean violent death or slaughter. Jesus was of course slaughtered and rose again: just like the Green Man. Just like Mithras, the leafy-faced green men Baccus & Dionysus, Osiris, etc., etc. And of course just like the year. The universe renews itself. Life through death. Order out of chaos.
Yes, very interested in mysteries, but not really interested in cryptic clues. I always avoid the cryptic crosswords If Nex is trying to comunicate something he will need to be a bit more direct.
Also having an interest in something isn't having a belief in it. I am a scientist by profession so tend to like to see evidence rather than have a faith.
You sound like a gnostic yourself, they seek direct experiential knowledge of God instead of having blind faith. (They also believe that placing a hierarchy of human "holy men" in grand manmade buildings and robes between us and god is heretical.)
Somebody from More4 must have read myplea by now. Doesn't anybody want to tell me about the documentary!?
Originally posted by altus: You sound like a gnostic yourself,
to be honest, although I find the subject interesting, I don't have any desire or need to actually be religious. I'm very happy with my life the way it is. Incidently, the gnostics were also very way out in their thinking. if they had been the successful christian group instead of the orthodox I probably wouldn't agree with them either.
I'm pretty certain I saw an advert for this programme (can't remember details sorry) so keep your eyes open, it must be coming soon! However, with all the hype surrounding the Da Vinci Code there are quite a few docu's about at the moment so it may not have been the one you want to see.
I'm really sorry I wasn't watching the tv properly - was multitasking!! When I read your post it reminded me I'd seen something about it thats all. But it must on soon if its being advertised. If I see it again I'll post details for you.
