Well seeing as C4 have billed it for Thurs 20th Oct at 9pm on terrestrial TV then his relief will be short lived!

West Wing Series 6 great! - but why no Sub-titles?
Sub-titles must be available, why are you not broadcasting them?
Diction tends to be poor on WW, lots of mumbling and fast speech, hence I really value sub-titles.
Are you just saving money?

I was not happy to be lied to over the phone by channel4 when i was told not once but two times that the channel would be free on sat.
I was not as sure as others about the website claims of a free channel so i phoned channel 4 and was told it would be free this was on the very morning of the first day.
I have since seen claims by channel4 that they claim sky are to blaim well are sky in charge of channel4 info phone service i think not.
If channel4 where not sure of the position or it was in any way not clear then there staff should have said to the viewers who phoned in like my self

The real problem with More4 is that it has totally damaged its own credibilty. How can it be an independent credible channel when it says it is encrypted on Sky because Sky says so? Ooh ooh now that's hard hitting and independent.

I thought More4 was going to be a credible channel with investigative journalism for adults, but so far it cannot even tell the truth about itself. Not so much a credibility gap as brand suicide.

With ITV trying to get itself out of Sky's clutches, you would have thought that C4 would realise it was time to do the same.

I am wondering if C4 got themselves tied into some daft contract with Sky where Sky have first option on the broadcast of their channels. If so they should have at least come clean about it. Will Rory Bremner be able to make jokes about it, probably not!

I'm still suprised that there has been no formal statement on this as it has upset alot of people who i don't think will rest until they get some explanation

if the More4 editor ever gets to read these pages may I politely ask, with knees bent and forelock tipped, does he have any idea if and when NYPD BLUE is going to be started up again with the SERIES TEN, Eleven and Twelve. These series should now of course be run consecutively as we have been over two and half years behind the running of the show in the USA.
It would be nice to know because channel four appear to have washed their hands of the program and seem to be suggesting that it will be carried by "one of the new digital channels".
An evening operator told me some three or four weeks ago when I rang, that NYPD BLUE would be started up again some time in October this year on the channel 13. I understand that More4 is in that position.
I'm sure you want to keep your customers/viewers/subscribers happy.
You can make me happy by saying that NYPD BLUE will start again and will run with all three series 10, 11 and 12 consecutively .

Is anyone in charge at MORE4 who can make an authoritative statement as to the future showing of NYPD BLUE, beginning with Chapter one of Series 10 and then continuing on with Series 11 and 12.
If you have nothing to do with it and Channel Four are the people I should be pestering, please advise.
I would be really grateful to find out just who is to blame for the continuing saga of WHY NYPD BLUE remains on the shelf.
Channel Four truly deserve a title of SUPREME DOG IN THE MANGER for their pompous arrogance and lack of consideration on this subject.

it's going alright but i havn't post much on this forum

I've not really been watching more4 as much as i thought i would. There is still some good stuff on now and again. mostly watching the documentaries. The 30 days series is good.

well i don't watch any program apart from daily show

yeah i watch that now and again. Hopefully they get some new and better shows on. I thought the last word would be good but i've went right off that.

problem is fact most people have to work next day so they can't really stay up

well its not getting up for work with me its the kids. thats why i miss the daily show a lot as iam getting them all to bed.
