Excellent point, Random Element...
I am going to leave it up to my family as to what they want to do with my body... my primary concern would be what gave them most comfort other than the benefits that I might bring to medical science.

Again, redirect to fat debate. Why should we all give our bodies to an institution that seems to wish to care for only some of us?

Yes.After a road traffic accident last year where a car knocked from my bike it broke my leg in several places and one operation later to pin and screw it back together!I'am so lucky to have not done any more damage. It has made me look at life in a different way now!So I have signed up for the Body Works programme. It is no good to me when I'm gone but I often joke that I'm going to live until I'm over the century!!

Is the debate of body donations over?? Has anyone suggested that organisations who want bodies should accept the full body no matter what part they want and they then have to dispose of the remains therefore saving the deceased family the cost and heartbreak of a funeral? Regards Jim
