"Speaking about More4, Andy Duncan, Channel 4’s Chief Executive, said: “We’re understandably excited about our launch line-up and convinced that More4 represents a significant extension of choice for our viewers. No other commercial broadcaster in the UK would contemplate launching a free-to-air channel with the richness and creative ambition of More4, which aims to make a significant public service contribution in its own right."
well they were quick to do the pr when the channel was being set up..since this debacle we have had total silence.......frankly if this were some other commercial firm (remember the free hoover flights fiasco) this channel would be sending its reporters to investigate....in a typical way the media guardian calls this a glitch...some glitch more like a GLUTNCH
and still not a word in reply....typical brush it under the carpet and hope it goes away.
anyway I suppose C$ as now as division of sky, will be pleased with themselves
Well I've been in contact with DCMS who asked me to write to the Broadcasting Minister James Purnell and have also been told again that OFCOM are actively looking into the wider issue.
The DCMS select committee have circulated my complaint to their members - if others do the same something might actually happen.
i have as well but they Ofcom where unsure if they where able to deal with my complaint in regard to channel4 info phone service that is telling me the more4 would be free on sat
