Ah strawberries, fraid it aint a nightmare it's really happening. How did Orwell put it (paraphrased)" In times of great tyranny, telling the truth becomes a treasonable act" War is Peace Freedom is Slavery Ignorance is Strength Time for my early evening dose of Victory gin.

Say in a few years, when the "government" have increased taxation on fuel/electricity,road levies loss of life savings, and inheritance so much, ordinary people including the middle classes will become so disillusioned even they will start to fight against the machine. That is when we will probably topple over into a full totalitarian state. Though they might pre-empt most of the above and introduce it sooner. I hate bearing bad tidings, but that's the way it's looking if you're awakened to the probabilities.

The people who rise to the top in politics often seem to be the type who want to control others. They probably think they know what is best for the masses. If they have an excuse to impose restrictions they will do it. The 'war on terrorism' gives them an excuse. And once they manage to introduce things to control us they don't like unintroducing them. Why did they keep identity cards years after the end of the Second World War? They weren't needed. They might have argued that they were needed as long as there was rationing but that would have just been an excuse. They kept licensing laws on the books long after the end of the First World War. I believe they were introduced so that munitions workers wouldn't spend all night in pubs.
I would be willing to go to prison rather than register for an identity card. I would not have one unless it became impossible to live without one. If I needed one to draw money from the bank I would have to get one. I won't even have a biometric passport. I am going to apply for a new passport soon, before the new style is brought in. I would like to go to Belgium to visit war graves. If I can go there without a passport I will. I have heard of people travelling within EU countries without a passport - just with some other form of proof of identity. Neither will I have a new driving licence. I would do without one rather than have one with my photograph on it.

i thought people died for us to have a free future but it seems to me they died in vein. I think to control those of us who resist there plan is to make life so hard not having one ie medical care and getting your money etc etc, you may laugh but i really think this is just the start i belive very much in conspercies and wonder what is coming i really feel for us all as i said before we are all wanting the same things most of us are good honest people and really care if we didnt we would not read and comment here but i think the people in charge whoever they are want us to feel down and fed up so we go along with out fighting back, but we need to kick back and be strong if not for us but the children,( Sorry for the bad spelling again)
