Unmissable! Dr Pamela Connolly interviews Sharon Osbourne in the first show, and afterwards Stephen Fry, David Blunkett, Sarah Duchess of York and Robin Williams.

"The idea is to have a deep, psychologically-based conversation with people that we think we know", says Pamela.

I think Pamela Connolly is a little hard and impatient at times which surprised me.

I also disagree with some of the things i feel were said by her:

ie. she suggested that Stephen was not a 'true' bipolar case. She seemed to insinuate you have to manifest at the extreme of such a disorder to be able to speak about it...most disorders have extreme and milder cases but it's the milder cases sometimes that are more of a struggle, because if left undiagnosed, or considered not serious enough, the person gets ridiculed by society for not being able to sort the problem out themselves rather than receiving the understanding and empathy that comes with more extreme cases. I believe Bipolar is underdiagnosed and I also believe that a psychologist cannot use their own scale of what constitutes a more traumatic condition or event than another and apply that scale to the person they are treating - each indivdual is entirely unique and what's traumatic for one may not be for another. Seeing Stephen talk he in my opinion has been correctly diagnosed as bipolar - (the erratic manic thinking pattern where he's talking at high speed which is both fascinating and indicative of the underlying condition)- i do believe alot of the traumatic events that have occured in his life can be attributed to that - his father it seemed may have had the same condition - and i thought he was an appropriate and fantastic representative of manic depression, which presents in extreme and milder forms, in his recent documentary...Great Guy - really really interesting man!!!!!
