This documentary was an excellent piece of journalism. My concern is why are the BBC giving this area such a wide berth? The expose on torture and CIA abductions were also Ch4 productions and only obliquely referred to when the information eventually became an issue with the public. Hats off to Ch4 for doing the job that the BBC is afraid to do.
The more I learn about the Iraq situation, the more ashamed I am of my government. At the risk of being arrested for "indirect incitement", I have to say that I fully understand the outrage and sense of impotence that inevitably leads to acts of terrorism. This isn't to say that I
approve of terrorism, but what else can the victims of the Bush/Blair rape of Iraq do to express their outrage?
Blair has committed this country to the role of destroyer. This cannot be undone and now we have to live with the consequences. Thanks, Tony. Now do us all a favour...... disappear!
