For non-Sopranos officianados, the series tells the story of the mob in New Jersey. Part of it's tale describes how mob activity has APPARENTLY declined over the the last decade or so due to, for example, police crack-downs. My question is: has the mob truly gone into decline? Have they just got cleverer in avoiding detection? Have they developed more ways of disguising their illegal activities?

I saw something on the TV talking about the Gottis and although they do not appear to be still doing the mafia thing everyone that was talking about them were still a bit reserved about talking about them.

Speaking of the Gottis, you should check out a Program called "Growing Up Gotti" it's only aired in America, but I'm sure you can find sites that let you Download the Episodes...

Anyway this "Growing Up Gotti" program is about John Gotti's Daughter (Victoria) and her 3 Kids, Carmine, John and Frankie it also has John Gotti's Son in it (Peter) but yer it's about their life how they live it etc. their always respecting their Grandfather (John Gotti) interesting program to be honest... It's like a Reality Program.
