The Mark Thomas Product was one of the best political shows of its time, and yet it appears to have vanished without a trace. I like more4 for showing shows with Michael Moore and Morgan Spurlock, but feel these guys are just doing what Mark Thomas did on Channel 4 years earlier. Now we have a dedicated Channel 4 channel for policatal and social issues (more4), I would like to see the old Mark Thomas shows repeated.
I would people to post here if they agree with me, I would like to get more 4 to show repearts or even a "Mark Thomas Revisited" series.
I never got to see many of his shows, He was doing a live act in Ediburgh a couple of years ago as well, I liked the one where he showed how easy it was to buy guns (I think he was claiming to be from the Middle East as well or someting but am not usre), I also liked the one where he demonstrated how people can but security camera footage of themselves for a tenner, i can't remember many of his other shows and missed quite a few I think so would be good to have repeats...
The Kids With Guns edition of Dispatches was excellent, but we do need to see Mark Thomas on the telly far more often, especially at the moment, while the mainstream media is failing so badly.
