the film The Da Vinci Code caused controversary about how it was about the religious figures.. wot did you feel about this? also What are your opnions on the film itself and the violence within it?
Loved the film, loved the book even more. Don't see the film instead of reading the book cause you'll miss loads. The violence was, i guess a bit intense for 12yr olds as stated on the DVD but it wasn't really that bad.
Insanity is not only welcomed, it is much appreciated!!
The story was ok, the general premise behind it could have been quite interesting if handled properly. The book itself was poorly written trash, ok for a holiday read but hardly great literature.
The film was one of the biggest loads of codswallop I've ever wasted my time going to see. I should have known from past experience to avoid Tom Hanks films like the plague but even he was no excuse for a film being quite this bad. I didn't notice much in the way of violence, I was too busy fighting the soporific effects of the rest of the film. Honestly, the film was so bad it made the book seem really good.
