Can anyone tell me the name of a french film shown on this night about 2 policemen . I fell asleep half way through and want to see the end. Thanks Mabel
The original french taxi was awesome first foreign film I watched right through & loved it was on during my insomniac phase & the thing is that when I spoke to people about it they all watched it as well. Not seen the american one yet.

Hi Thanks for the replies, it was a thriller about 2 cops solving 2 seperate murders ,one cop was a kind of maverick, the film was quite recent, i thought one of the actors was maybe in one of the matrix films but i'm not sure, its all a bit hazy as I had been at a night out, but I'd like to see it sober Thanks Mabel

Verno, I am truly impressed. You are the unique person, I came acrosss(with Mabel-Cable) who knows about The Crimson Rivers!! I must say I am surrounded by sporty people (family and colleagues)This year I managed to convince some of those sporty to go and see Downfall and... they liked it! I found that film so well made that sometimes one could have believed it was a real documentary. I found the Goebbels (spelling?) family generating a very morbid fascination. The acting was stunning. I think it was one of the best film of the year. I have been slightly saturated,in my life, by the quantities of films on Hitler. This one was so different! Probably because the emphasis was on reality more than on drama.
Oooops! This section was for French films! Sorry and, Verno, I've just seen your post on Downfall! Oh well, the French did a few master pieces during the Occupation, like Les Visiteurs du Soir by Marcel Carné, I think.
Post what you like, Laetitia. I'm sure no one will mind you mentioning a German film especially one as good as Downfall. Have you seen Crimson Rivers 2 ? It is quite bad but Benoit Magimel is cute.
