Illusions by Richard Bach could be a great film. I'm seeing John Cusak in the lead

Cause I can't be arsed scrolling down...

I think either 'Vurt' or 'Pollen' by Jeff Noon should be made into a film. Directed by David Lynch.

Oh yeah! Acid tabs at the ready!

I would like to say Lost Souls but then again I adore the book, so I don't think a film could do it justice.

One of my favourite books is 'The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay', but that is being made into a film.

I think that 'A Child Called "it"' could be good, although it would either have to be rated 18 or dumbed down a lot, which wouldn't be good.

Good Omens by Neil Geiman & Terry Pratchett.

Brilliant, with so much scope for visuals it is just crying out to be a film. It is basically a spoof of 'The Omen'. I did hear Terry Gillium was trying to raise funds for an adaptation, and he would be ideal for it, but last I heard it fell through.

The John Norman "Gor" series would be great.

Also, just about every Dean Koontz story I ever read just blew me away. Way superior to Stephen King.

There's a book called Amanda's wedding by Jenny Colgan, it's probably the only chick lit I've ever read but it'll do well as a Brit Romcom flick.
V. Glad about Chronicles of Narnia finally coming to the silver screen...Why not, the fans have only been waiting for 50 years!

The Time Traveller's Wife would be a pretty cool film. Might need Charlie Kaufmann to write the screenplay though.

its not a book in a sense, but alan moore's "watchmen" graphic novel would make an cool movie

I tell you which series should've had a follow-up...Heartbreak High, that drama was uber cool, I loved drazis I so wanted to see if he would finally get his life sorted.

But I suppose there's the secret life of us to keep me going? That lovely lad who plays Evan is certainly making himself busy in the film industry

I actually found the book quite disturbing .... but can see how it would be good as a film.

i don't think they'll make The Dice Man. Everyone would start copying it and living by the throw of a dice. It'd be chaos!.. or would it be chance? Confused

Too right, Heartbreak high was the bizness, Dennis and Drazik, legends that time forgot.
Why the hell they started putting the secret life of us on at messed up hours was beyond me, I was really into the first series then sort of lost track.

The Aenied by Virgil and the Odyssey by Homer. A return to sword and sandal epics. Just keep whichever idiot who wrote the Iliad well away!

The Rum Diary by Hunter. Apparently currently in pre-production starring Deep, Hartnett and directed by Del Toro.

As far as GOOD OMENS goes, Gilliam said he had the perfect film in his head, but nobody would give him the budget so he has handed over the reigns to a new screenwriter to cut it down to budget. He said he couldn't bear to cut anything from his perfect film. Which brings me onto Don Quixote which I would love to see Giliam get finished.
