For my final years project at Uni I am creating a brand new animated intro sequence for the film 'Sideways'.

Im just wondering (for research purposes) if any of you could tell me your favourite intro sequences and why, and if you think they are valid to have ?

All opinions are much appreciated.

I think the intro for MGS2 is one of the best I've seen as far as animation goes!

The Intro for FFX is also breathtaking

The Intro for Street Fighter 2 the animated movie is quite cool!

its not the intro per say but the bowling part at the begining of the big lebowski is brilliant!

Probably cliche to say this but the intro to Star Wars (now dubbed A New Hope) is IMHO one of the greatest in movie history. The Music, the Once upon a time crawl, then the masive space ships the thunder over the viewers instantly wsisk you into another world of breathtaking adventure.
