I'm going to see it on Wednesday but weirdly it's not showing in my city so I'm going to go to another town.

i hate it when that happens, I really wanted to see The Family Stone before Christmas but it wasn't on at my local cinema. The only four films they were showing in an eight screen cinema were Narnia, Harry Potter, King Kong and Flightplan
I read the book a few years ago, and it's really good. I'm yet to see the film, but for some reason all the reviews and hype around it seem to be ignoring the fact that it's based on a Marc Levy book. Does anyone know why? Has he distanced himself from it?
Mark Ruffalo is always dependable, but this film lowered his credibility in my eyes. A harmless romcom I can stomach (even if I needed some Alka-Seltzer afterwards) but this was too much. If I wanted a subconscious message on the right for life, I would listen to Fox News while I slept! Jeez!
yeah it's my favourite film atm, I'm a sucker for chick flicks and this one was immense

can't believe you even wasted the finger energy on bothering to type the title of this film. I hate it, tis probably one of the most terrible, cliched, crappy movies around.
Does anyone know why? Has he distanced himself from it?
