I'd do Troy. And I'd make sure some redneck moron wasn't writing the script! And that kid who looked bad in eastenders and yet still got a role as Aeneas would have been locked in the Trojan horse and never released. Aeneas being played by an annoying teenager who was so bad at acting he was even killed off in eastenders. Somebody stop me.

No...By all means carry on. *hands over some planks and nails* I'd really like a remake of Troy as well. This time depicting the whole fricken 10 year war in jaw dropping epic scale rather than some silly arsing about on a beach. And someone better than Brad. i wouldn't remake any film. i'm not a fan of remakes. good films do not need to be remade as they're already good and bad films don't need to be remade as it'd just make one bad film in to two bad films if that makes sense.

Not a remake but I think the book, The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown is being made into a movie featuring Tom Hanks as the lead. I'm looking foward to that! I'm currently reading the book now [ about half way ] and it should be excellent! Heres a link -> The Da Vinci Code

I think all remakes should be banned forever, but if I had to remake a film, it would be Taxi Driver. I'd write, produce, direct and star as Travis Bickle. The other cast members would include Eric Bana as Wizard, Alexa Vega as Iris, Sean Penn as Sport, Alicia Silverstone as Betsy and Dennis Hopper to play Scorsese's angry cab passenger... what ya think? I completly agree with this, there is no reason to rmeake films. One of the worst remakes Ive seen recently is charlie and the choco factory...what was the point in remaking that?!!? It was a brilliant film before! now its just gonna be know as 'the original...' remakes ruin the name of good films.

I wouldnt remake it but maybe they could redo the SFX in some parts of The Thing. Just the large Alien at the end even, he/it could do with a makeover.

Good topic! Scream 3 because it ruined the triology. Now I know some people don't rate any of them but I liked them and Scream 3 SO ruined the other two: bad script, cliches, and bad twist.

Definatley the fisr three Star Wars films. Wait till Lucas dies, buy the rights and redo Menace, Clones and Sith as proper movies WITH A PLOT!!!

I'd remake American Psycho with every bit of nastiness form the book which I have finished reading. Take rat, pour acid, insert rat into prostitute etc. Get a Korean/Japanese director to do it

That is one sick book! I was afraid to watch the first film cos of the book, turns out it wasn't worth worrying about though. I think that particular story should be left well alone! |
