Anyone looking forward to David Schwimmer's directorial debut?

A chunky, clueless guy (Simon Pegg of Hot Fuzz and Shawn of the Dead) leaves his pregnant fiancée on their wedding day only to discover -- 5 years later -- that she is his one true love. But in order to win back her heart, he looks to finish his first marathon while making her realize her new man (Hank Azaria) is the wrong guy for her.

This came out last year, it's on DVD now. It's OK, not side splitting but not bad, harmless. Pegg and Moran are good in it, but then what do you expect from Pegg and Moran?

Ha! Lucky you. I guess we're just getting to see it now over in North America. But I agree with you about Pegg and Moran. They certainly have set a standard for themselves.

Ah, sorry, I didn't realise you were in America! It seems odd that we got this film first, you guys seem to even get the british films before we do usually.

I think the film's a bit tongue in cheek and the humour is kinda brit even though that bloke from friends directed it. Hope you enjoy it!

Yeah you're right we usually get stuff before you guys, guess not with this one.

Humour is very tongue and cheek, yes. I love Brit humour in all forms. You guys did it best with Monty Python and The Office.

I never know how much of our TV you get in America, did you get things like Spaced and Black Books? I would have to agree with you, Python rocked.

We get quite a bit of British programming. Mostly just bigger shows like 'Little Britain', 'Hearbeat' and of course 'Cornation Street'. Never heard of 'Spaced' and 'Black Books' though. 'Willow The Wisp' is still one of my all time favorite British shows, regardless of the fact that it's essentially a children's show!

You get Heartbeat? Oh my god, what an awful thing to export! We have much better stuff than that! Where I live we normally refer to it as Fartbeat or Old Fartbeat.

Spaced was a sitcom Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright and Nick Frost did in the late 90s, early 00s, it was brilliant, a bit like Shaun of the Dead. Black Books was another sitcom with Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey and Tamsin Greg about this awful Irish drunk who ran a book store. Green Wing is another good one if you like that kinda humour.

I always wanted to be Mavis when I was a kid, and I once got into trouble for calling my gran Evil Edna, was it my fault she was evil and called Edna? The name stuck.

Yeah 'Heartbeat' is pretty dull. Fartbeat. That's awesome. I like the opening song though.

I'm glad you told be about 'Spaced' and 'Black Books'! They sound hilarious. I'll have to check them out.

Ha, that's funny story about Edna. What a great show with rich characters.
