Not sure if you would class them as tear jerker's as such but, My Life Without Me, Powder and Song For A Raggy Boy.

If you've not seen them, I urge you to do so.

Roy: I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness at Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. Time to die.

To be honest I don't know what it was called. I think it was a made for tv movie. It was about a guy who had held up a store and killed someone. He got the death penalty and the films about his last few hours waiting in his cell. Its quite moving to watch as he thinks about his life and realises how many mistakes he has made, and how much he regrets. All the while trying to pretend to the guards he doesn't care he's going to die.

I remember a film called Silent Running which for eco nuts like me has a very sad ending ironic considering it involves an emotionless robot watering flowers.

Forbidden Game (Jeux Interdits) by Rene Clement. The music, a very famous guitar piece, is also a tear jerker. Osama is devastating. Tsotsi and Shooting Dogs generate bitter tears.
Hollywood hasn't got the monopoly of tears, in fact they are specialist of crocodile tears.

adding to my list - "A Walk To Remember" because Landon and Jamie only get to spend one married summer together, "Beaches" because it shows the possibility of friendship till death, "Titanic" because of all the obvious reasons and "The Notebook", because what happens to Noah and Allie in their lives together is both beautiful and truly heartbreaking

I've cried at The Green Mile. That was soo sad.

Never been kissed - that tends to get me. The bit at the end, where she doesnt think hes coming and he turns up at the last minute - cliche but still cried lol. Thing is what i dont get, even tho the first time i saw it i cried obviously...but even tho i seen it soo many times and know he turns up...i still cry!

Another one is Homeward Bound - I cannot watch that film! everytime i do, i bawl my eyes out! again, i know that there ok etc...but i still cry!

Big Grin

I am Kakashi Hatake. I have no intentions of telling you my likes and dislikes. As for my dreams...[pause]...I have few hobbies.
Sasuke! Calm down...I will protect you with my life. All of you! I shall not allow my comrades to die! Valentine
No, you don't get it, thats why I'm telling you. You think you get it, which isn't the same as actually getting it. Get it? - Cool
