The Champ is the worst - my whole family wailed at that one.

Also Watership Down, Project X and Fox & the Hound.

To be honest, it doesn't take much to make me cry. I sobbed most of the way through Little Miss Sunshine.

the champ is the worst film ever for making you cry.

I agree with most peoples choices on here but there are some I havent seen

also like to add go towards the light

a film about a boy who contracts HIV througha blood transfusion - its almost as sad a the champ.

Philadelphia. There's one shot where Andy (Tom Hanks) leaves Joe's (Denzel Washington) office after being turned down for representation, his expression - that gets me.

"Who is Keyser Soze? He is supposed to be Turkish. Some say his father was German. Nobody believed he was real. Nobody ever saw him or knew anybody that ever worked directly for him, but to hear Kobayashi tell it, anybody could have worked for Soze. You never knew. That was his power. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. And poof. Just like that, he's gone." Wave

There are so many films that make me cry, I'm really soft. But two that spring to mind are The Fountain and Grave Of The Fireflies, they make me cry like a baby, making me unable to breate properly as well.

An old film called Imitation of Life is the only tearjerker I've found to rival Who Will Love my Children. It's heartbreaking.

I cannot believe someone else has seen this film!!! I cannot bear how sad it is. It is Lana Turner and Sandra Dee and it is so poignant. I now have it on DVD and watch it when I am feeling down... weirdly enough it cheers me up!

Homeward Bound, where the boy is waiting for the dog and all of a sudden he appears. We watched it with 4 kids from 11 to 4 - everyone of us bawling Red Face

Fried Green Tomatoes - funny but sad

Imitation of Life - fabulous sad film

Beaches - real weepie

and

Murder in the First - Kevin Bacon's performance is breathtaking, it makes me cry with anger and sadness.

But 14 Days in May, a BBC documentary made me cry more than all those put together
