Right this is stale news I know but I only watched it last night and I haven't seen a sci-fi film so depressing since 1984
*SPOILERS* (in case there is a small minority that has not seen it)

What is it with the Lucas/Spielberg combo making swoony, distressed women? Amidala got on my nerves by the end Roll Eyes Would have been nice if 'Ben' was used just once!

To answer an old question I think there a brief connection with the twins and their mother - she touched their faces - Anyway do yourselves a favour...watch the original trilogy - it miles better Smile

It's about time that George Lucas realised that fancy computer effects don't make a good film. The three new Star Wars films are complete rubbish compared to the original ones.

Well if they were not even good enough to be included in the new Star Wars Films, they must be terrible.

Well out of the most recent Star Wars films I thought Revenge of the Sith was the better of the 3. However none of them stand up against the originals.

I saw this last night, it was better than the first two, but that's like saying rabbit-shite is better than pig and sheep shite respectively! I hope I never see it again - the script was lame, the acting terrible, the battle scenes boring, the CGI ridiculous and the frequent images of light-sabres falling and all that crap about Qui Gon Jin in the netherworld...oh dear! Let's hope George Lucas doesn't make anymore, still I spose he made lots of $$$$$$ - which is why he didn't do prequels to 'THX1138' or 'Howard the Duck'

I thought it was a lot better than the other two....dark Star Wars is always good Star Wars...the beginning bit is a little too much, but the turning of Anakin and the fight scene...and Order 66. Brilliant.

Some of the deleted scenes are good...they show Padme being a lot more involved...sort of being involved in the start of the rebellion..and I think, this is the one I'm most gutted didn't get put in, one shows Yoda arriving at Dagabah(sp).

Haydyn's acting is a lot better in this than Attack of the Clones. And at least Jar Jar (sp) didn't have a speaking part... Big Grin Ninja

Yeah Phantom Menace was by far the worst mistake George Lucas has ever done.

No doubt Mt Lucas will bring out a directors cut with all the deleted scenes added back in and some extra CGI, and we will all shell out another 15 quid.

I enjoyed Sith, best film of the year so far!

Expectations are naturally higher with these films, but compared to other films around, there still way in front and have proven so at the box office.

Viva Star wars and George Lucas!

Now how about episodes 7-9, as well as the tv series between ep 3 & 4?

To be fair, the most memorable was the introduction to Darth Maul and his lightsabre staf with the choir exploding from nowhere Cool

But yes I think Jar-Jar was something created after many beers were consumed and all sense was lost

Certainly better than Phantom Menace (then again wedding videos are better than that). But it still relied far too much on CGI.
On the whole, very disappointed with it. The scene with Vadar shouting NOOO at the end was laughably bad.

LOL. I thought so too. Genius that bit.

Not a big Star Wars fan, so didn't really enjoy any of the new three. Would much rather watch a cheesey action fest like Cellular.
