I saw it a while ago, it was really good wasn't it. Katie Holmes should do more roles like that.

From imdb: April Burns (Holmes) invites her family to Thanksgiving dinner at her teeny apartment on New York's Lower East Side. As they make their way to the city from suburban Pennsylvania, April must endure a comedy of errors - like finding out her oven doesn't work - in order to pull off the big event.
Its good, her family don't really like her, they're very well to do and she's not at all but she tries so hard to impress them.

Yup! as above. I really recommend you watch it! and yes, Katie Holmes should do more roles like that! I couldn't believe it was her at first...I didn't even recognise her.
I thought the ending fitted really well... but I could understand what some of the members of my class said- that her family don't deserve her hard work, non?
