1. I think that the first japanese animated film I saw was vampire hunter D bloodlust.

2. This is tough, but I would have to go with Akira.

3. Hayoa Miyazaki, the man who bought us spirted away and princess monokoe.

4. The brilliant studio Ghibli.

5. I would have to go for spirted away and Akira for this one. As spirited away was one of the films that helped to take japanese animation mainstream and Akira becasue although the animation is probaly not as good as some of the disney films at the time, but the story line is of Steven Speilburg quality.

6. No, I only recently got in to them.

7. I think that in ten years time this kind of film will be pretty well known.

8. I have had an interest in Japanese animation for a while, I love the final fantasy games and I guess watching the films was kind of a natural progression for me.

9.Tricky to say, I think that the studio ghibli films can be enjoyed by pretty much any one, but there are some films like Akira and Ghost in a Shell that are aimed more at people 18-25.

Like a fat a guy at an all you can eat buffet life got in my way.
