At the moment all sorts of additions to existing films are being muted. For example, Die Hard 4.0, Indy4, and so on. Basically I was just wondering if you guys thought they were worth doing. Personally, I think something such as Indy 4 would be incredible to see. It would unite three of the greatest filmmakers of their generation for probably the last time and it could be quite simply the best movie ever. Period. But with Ford getting older, Lucas losing his touch and Speilberg busy with the two Toms could it possibly be what everyone wishes it could be. I think the death of Pat Roach tipped the balance for me. Having fought with (and been killed by) Indy in every film previously, it would just seem wrong to have Dr.Jones in a battle to the death with anyone but England's greatest wrestler. Its a tough one becuase it could be great, but nobody wants their dreams shattered. Star Wars is one thing but Indy always seemed somehow more untouchable, older and just not right to tamper with after Last Crusade. One thing is for sure though, if it doesn't happen it will go down as the greatest movie never made.
I worry they may have left Indiana Jones 4 a bit late. I'm hoping it's gonna be cool though. Nobody does 'action hero' like Harrison Ford. I also seem to remember stories of another Back to the Future trilogy starring Sarah Michelle Geller as Marty's cousin. Wonder what happened to that

Not bothered if there is another trilogy, or whether its good or bad or comforms to some arbitrary ideal of what makes a good film...i don't care about that. What i do care about is that Buffy is not in it, Chist she is awful [BTW I loved the Grudge and its a good thing Buffy wasn't shown much in it]
oh. I see. Well it was a while ago, I'm sure it'd be someone else now if they actually go for it. But I do think they'd go for a female McFly though and Doc Brown
A sequel I would like to see is to Grosse Point Blank. An utterly brilliant film. John Cusak is superb as Martin Blank and there is scope for one more story surely.

I can just see it....Lindsay Lohan as McFly with Susan Sarandon as Doc Brown!
"That's right. I got your number, id boy. Only thing you're thinking about is how long before you can jump on my bones".
well as i remember the article, The Doc would be still played by Christopher Lloyd and Michael J Fox would also appear as Marty but obviously he'd be just a cameo character
"I have a photograph taken at the "Back-to-Back-to-Back" premiere at the Cinerama Dome Theatre in Hollywood, where you, Robert Zemeckis and Neil Canton are holding up anti-Back to the Future 4 t-shirts. Does this sentiment still remain true today, or have things changed at all regarding the possibilities of additional Back to the Future films? Were any of the other numerous rumors of the past few years regarding the pre-development of a fourth film true?"
BOB GALE "I don't have any knowledge of any of this stuff. I think these were just idle rumors. No one at Universal or Amblin ever asked Bob Z or me to think about a Part 4; and certainly Steven Spielberg would never consider the prospect without our involvement. Years ago, Bob and I would kick it around, but we couldn't do it without Michael J. Fox, and Michael just isn't in any condition to do something like that. I can't believe the fans would want to see a Part 4 without Michael in it either — as a fan, I certainly wouldn't. It would smell too cheap. There will not be a Part 4."
Maybe it's just as well, talking of new additions wouldn't it be good if they breathed new life into the Ghostbusters films - Like a next generation or something
