As for the Matrix sequils I don't wish they wern't made, I wish they actually thought of better stories. We were lied to when the first one came out, being told it was the first part of a trilogy already written. They clearly hadn't. It stank of last muinite writing.
Same seems to apply to the Star Wars Prequils. Lucas claimed he had writtten nine films! He has since retracted that claim, but the new ones simply were not consistent with the originals. Just one big middle age ego trip.
One film I think should never have been made- U571.
It comes to something when a country starts re-writing the achievements of another country as the achievements of its own. I haven't seen the film, though I hear it is a good film in itself, I just can't get over the bad ethics of what they have done.

Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy should not have been made into a film...The best book, Radio series and even the TV show...BUT a film  NO! NO!

House of the Spirits. The book was beautiful, a thing of wonder and I loved every word. Then they made it into a film. With Jeremy Irons.

Cannibal Holocaust: one of my favourite movies of recent times, and yet i wish it had never been created for me to cast it upon my family haha!! It took around a month for the abuse of how could u like such a thing', 'the poor animals', 'youre brother cant get to sleep at night' to die down, and even now i get a right nasty scowl whenever it is mentioned... it now lies at the bottom of my cupboard, waiting for the right time to be viewed once again.

Most recently I saw Marie Antoinette which I thought was total shit. Apart from that I suppose there's countless sequels which should have never been made!

predaor 2 shouldnt have been made. shouldnt do sequals if u cnt use the same characters. flowers in the attic, the book was brilliant, very movin. the film did nothin for me.
