When i was kid in the late seventies and eighties BBC2 showed a horror double bill every Saturday night. One old, one new. like a Hammer Dracula then an old Universal Dracula. I was allowed to stay up and watch them, it was my highlight of my week!

but other than those, The Incredible Shrinking Man, the Time Machine, The First Men in the Moon, Carry on Screaming, Goldfinger, well all the James Bonds and the Indiana Joneseseses when i was a teenager... oh and Singin in the Rain

Wow, its weird looking back at old movies. Ones that triggered my memory are ones that are mentioned.

Goonies - oh my god I loved that film, always felt sorry for that guy with the distorted face.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

Lion the witch and the wardrobe - The bit where the lion gets caught in rope and the mice free him sticks in my mind.

Willow - Was on the other night, I couldn't tear myself away!

Oliver - Classic. xD.

I also watched a film called Laputa the flying island but nobody seems to have heard of it.

Just remembered another one - Garbage Pail Kids. >.<
