Memento would warrant a Top 100 slot on originality alone. Then again I would put "Requiem for A Dream" & "City of God" in a Top 100. Its hard to say 100. There are too many films which you would put into the catagory of "I would put that there but so and so is probably better". It would drive you insane in the end. I would however not even flinch at putting "Lawrence of Arabia" in my no.1 spot. To me its the highest quality of film making ever put on screen. Others would find it boring. Buy Memento on DVD get the easter eggs and watch it backwards Blakess. Its weird. |

On an occasional visit to a foreign movie forum, I unearth an abnormally. There isn't any Chinese movie on the list of recommended movies. The critics simply did not mention anything Chinese. This shocking discovery makes me feel hurt and indignant. I feel that it's not because we do not have any worthy movies, it's just that they do not have the opportunity to come across our good movies. In light of this, on my website, I not only endorse excellent foreign films, I also laud brilliant local productions. maybe you can say this list not your greatest movies list ,but its mine .
