I love watching films which have a nice juicy twist at the end, so just wanted to share my favourites with you and hopefully get a few ideas of other good films to watch:
what's that one where edward norton plays a choirboy accused of murder and richard gere is the lawyer - that twist is good. also sixth sense although i picked that one.

I forgot the sixth sense! Yeah that's on my list as well.
i dunno if this counts as a "twist", but @ the end of "Bring It On", i really expected tht the Toros would win. i 4rt it was "twisty" tht the Clovers won.
Two David Mamet films House Of Games and the Spanish Prisoner have great twists. The Usual Suspects also. A couple of French films, Monsieur Hire, L'Enfer and Nathalie, also the end of Manon des Sources.

The film you are refering to is Priminal Fear. Usual Suspects has the best twist in afilm, I'm still gobsmacked by it.
Chili Palmer: Now I've been shot at three times before. Twice on purpose and once by accident. And I'm still here. And I'm gonna be here for as long as I want to be
actually thats not true, if you count Agatha christie whodunnits as twist stories so I'll take that back before everyone jumps on me. Its still has the greatest twists though.
1. Seven = it's Gwynnie's head! 2. The Vanishing (1988 version) = buried alive! 3. The Crying Game = she's a bloke! 4. Empire Strikes Back = Vader's Luke's dad! 5. Soylent Green = it's made from people!
The Others totally spooked me out. It's more the atmosphere and Kidman's slow mental breakdown. The pictures of the dead stayed in my head long after the film.
Its gotta be The Usual Suspects. Then Empire Strikes Back and Unbreakable. The twist in unbreakable really got me, I was absolutely gobsmacked by it and it made soo much sense. Top film.
I've seen this but can't remember it having a twist. I only remember the bit up to where Kevin Spacey is tied up on a chair in his house and something nasty is done with pencils.
Is there something wrong with me, but I easily guessed the twist in the Sixth Sense and the Village within the first twenty minutes. Usual Suspects and Unbreakable caught me out big time, loved them both! And Shawshank Redemption- didnt see that one coming. Perhaps I can think on the same wavelength as the director of the first two, pardon my ignorance, cant spell his name. Night Shymalan ? I hope he can catch me out in a future film, my mates wont think I'm a smug wotsit then!
