I've no idea who the main actor is but i recall him being a well known one. Its a film about a well respected Lawyer who is contacted by a man on death row or serving a life sentence for a crime he didnt commit. The lawyer then goes about getting him released to which he does but then there is a sick twist in that the lad who got released was guilty and someone inside helped him to get outside to finish off his parents. the man then takes the lawyers family and almost kills them but the lawyer gets there in the end to save the day and his family.. can anybody help me? i'd say the film is ten years or so old as it was on tele back in November last year.

American Psycho and Fight Club are my favourite two films with a twist.

definately SAW. but not saw2,3,or 4 no real twists there

Wonder what Saw V holds in store.. Probably not very much.

The Usual Suspects is the greatest for the twist.

What about the Planet of the Apes one where you find out at the end there still on Earth after observing the Statue of Liberty .

Fracture - If you look hard enough you'll find that everyone has a weakness.

The Anthony Hopkins movie, the genius millionaire catches his wife having an affair with a cop and then sets up the perfect murder. The hot shot young lawyer played by Ryan Gosling tries to prosecute Hopkins but can't find the elusive murder weapon. Just when you think Hopkins has achieved his revenge, a new discovery by Ryan turns the whole thing around and so the film ends with a wonderful twist.
