The main character in this film is a blonde women, who people generally represent as dumb. but the representation on blonde women have been reversed in this film, as she is shown as a highly intellengent woman, that still does act a bit 'blonde'; clumsy, pink etc
Well the main character Reese Witherspoon who plays a blonde, is protray as dumb and self obssesed with her looks. Most people take advantage of her in the film because of the way she dresses (wearing pink all the time) and acts. Although later in the film you come to see that she is a very intellengent women who has been taken for granted and ends up becoming a lawyer, but she only does this to impress a man, but then ups relising that he's a jerk. So overall she learns a lesson herself.
well the main character is firsly blonde and quite vain. she is representated as the typical 'blonde' as bein a dumb person.. although it does egt turned around in the film as yer she is blonde in a pink suit but then she is an intellitucal woman who knows what she wants. The blonde steroytpe is seen to be the dumb girls not always true as u can not justifiy wot a person is jus by colour of there hair, they are also seen as the girlie girls always in pink. this is justified in the film as she does love pink. also the gender of bein a female is shown that one she cant do the job well but proves them wrong. xx
The character is very similar to a barbie type character, in the way that she is larger than life as a "dumb blonde". This is a humerous role but is unlikely to protray a serious type of person.
I love the legally blonde movies. I think it is funny and the movie also has a message behind it, saying don't stereotype or judge someone based on their looks cause they might just surprise you.
