I felt The Break Up was quite a heavy drama at times, even though it was billed as a romantic comedy! Smile

Sorry I meant James Toback's Fingers - Read My Lips was the previous film from the director and writer of The Beat My Heart Skipped

I'll second that Mr.Nice! Meryl Streep is gorgeous in that film.

Duck Soup Masterpiece of a film from the Marx brothers. 10/10

Confidence Decent heist film, although when you compare it to The Sting and Inside Man, it becomes mediocre. 5/10

Cars - very good. Theres a great scene at the end where they are watching films like Toy Story, Monsters Inc. and the characters have been changed to cars. Very clever.

Warrior King - great fight sequences but far too long. Should have been 30 minutes shorter.

Renaissance - Interesting. Takes a while to get going but I liked it. And it's so well done.

Inspired by a weekend trip to a seaside town -

The Lost Boys

Highly entertaining and very atmospheric.

Great soundtrack.

Possibly my favourite movie of all time.

I saw Cars on Saturday and really enjoyed it. That bit at the end was brilliant but one of the people I was with didn't get it as they hadn't seen Toy Story etc!!

Stormbreaker - 8/10. Really enjoyed it. Ok, the plot wasn't watertight enough to hold a jellyfish but some of the fight scenes were actually really good and most of the acting was excellent. The plot could have been a little more complicated, it did seem like it was for quite young children.

Obviously, behind many others but just seen Oldboy for the first time and well....er whoah...what an amazing film - cracking acting from the leads, inch perfect direction (Ridley and Quentin probably took copious notes)and cinematography? Beautiful. Same night introduced my 9 yr old to Angels With Dirty Faces ... he was suitably impressed too!

What are you? The spelling police. Roll Eyes The OP did apologise for their spelling in their sig.

I used to love the Three Amigos Antonia. Admittedly, I haven't watched it for quite a long time though.
