Millions - I'd wanted to see it for a while and it didn't disappoint, not brilliant, but still good once you get over the ridiculousness of parts of it. I still loved James Nesbitt even with the dodgy accent (I'm not sure which part of the country he was supposed to be from!)
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Definitely a film that gets better with repeated viewing, like Trainspotting. Although I'm worried that if I watch it too many times I'll end up hating it and then won't be able to watch it for years, like Trainspotting!

The Wicker Man - Another Hollywood remake misfire. The ending will have you leaving the cinema laughing. Awful in every regard. Crank - So bad it's not even funny. An insult to intelligence. The Sentinel - It's no In The Line Of Fire, but it's decent enough entertainment. Poor ending though.

Candy - This was an ok film. Heath Ledger seemed an awful lot more believable than his co-star which may have affected my opinion of it slightly. There just wasn't much new either imo. 5.5/10. Aquamarine - I actually thought this was quite good. It did exactly what it said on the tin and the young actresses did well I thought. The 'baddie' plot failed to engage a little because as far as we could tell all she'd done up to the point where she did get nasty was fancy the same bloke as our heroin. 7/10. The Last Hangman - This was great. Timothy Spall was so good as Albert Pierrepoint. If there were any negatives I'd say the relationship between him and Juliet Stevenson didn't quite work, but whether that was due to chemistry or the lack of scenes between them I'm not sure. This film left me gagging for more information and I was straight onto google to read up more. 9/10. Johnny English - I went off Rowan Atkinson big-time a while back but I actually found this entertaining and had a few laughs along the way too. Poo jokes, what can I say - why does every English comedy after 'Carry On' have to have a poo joke?? I just don't understand. Stop with the poo jokes people please. 6.5/10. She's All That - Average American-highschool-geek-makeover movie with Freddie Prinze Junior. There was nothing new here but it was ok. A few cameos kept it fun - it did raise the question why on earth Usher and Lil Kim would want to be in this. lol. Enjoyed the cool dance scene near the end. 6/10. ......_____,__ __ _\______ - ---o ~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~ 0 -----` --(@)==========(@)--

She's All That 8/10 Rachael Leigh Cook is so beautiful, I'd just love to cuddle her for eternity! Anyway, back to the film. I think this is a decent film and makes a good point. I really enjoy these feel good romantic comedies.

Four Weddings and a Funeral - Film 4. The first viewing of this since its cinema run, and still holds up well. Very funny in places and Simon Callow steals the show.

I've just seen 'The Vampire Lovers', starring Peter Cushing and Ingrid Pitt. It's a Hammer horror based on Sheridan le Fanu's 'Carmilla' about a vampiress who seduces and murders her way around old Styria. Some of the acting's bad and there's not as much dialogue going on as I'd hoped for, but the film has a lot of atmosphere (something sadly lacking in so many of today's screamers) and is deeply sensual. Kate O'Mara does a good turn here as a governess corrupted by the undead. Thoroughly recommended for all Hammer fans.

Notting Hill - Film 4. Again first viewing since it's cinema release, nowhere near Four Weedings although I always liked the scene where Hugh Grant is walking through the market and the seasons change to show the passing of time. God that Ronan Keating song is atrocious.

Air Force One - I hadn't seen it in years, it was good, but not as good as I remember it being the first time.
The Sentinel - It was good, worth watching once. I like these kind of films about protecting the president. Michael Douglas made me feel ashamed though that he can still run at his age and I feel out of breath running for a bus!

The Wicker Man - I haven't seen the original so I can't compare but I thought it was ok, not brilliant but not rubbish. The jumpy bits were good but the twist at the end wasn't exactly shocking.

Kinky Boots - It was alright. Nothing particularly wrong with it for what it was. 6/10. Severance - I thought this was wicked, I really enjoyed it. It made me laugh, it made me jump, it kept me guessing. It was great. A little of it didn't quite hit home but I can forgive it that. 9.5/10 ......_____,__ __ _\______ - ---o ~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~ 0 -----` --(@)==========(@)--

Desperado -1 billion / 10 Absolute crap from start to finish. Banderas is the worst actor of all time and why Steve Buscemi chose to be in this film leaves me a state of bewilderment, perhaps he took the money and ran! Actually, I'd like to withdraw Banderas from the worst actor of all time tag and replace him with Quentin Tarantino, his was a dreadful attempt to act. Salma Hayek was worth looking at though, she's hot.

The Bourne Identity. It was on ITV the other night, I saw it a couple of years ago and got a bit lost. Followed it better this time, was ok.

Right at your door. Boring, low budget disaster movie. Poor twist that was seen coming 20mins before the end. Should have watched Crank instead
