Kabul Express
The story of two Indian and one Amercian Journalist in Afghanistan two months after 11th September trying to get an interview with a member of the Taliban.
Very enjoyable and surprisingly funny in places.

Eragon
Ok, its about a young farm boy whose family is killed by evil henchmen, he then learns he has a great power and is trained by a wise old sage. He then rescues a damsel in distress, joins the resistance against the evil lord.....
Is this sounding familiar to anyone else?

Didn't hate it as much as I thought I was going to, still very lame and weak though.

I went to see a screening of the new Ben Stiller film A Night At The Museum and I have to say I enjoyed to thoroughly. It had quite the cast aswell with a support of Dick Van Dyke, Mikey Rourke (or Rooney I never know, the older one) Robin Williams and Ricky Gervais & Owen Wilson making cameos.

Black Christmas 2/10

Another bullsh*t remake! Not seen the 1974 original to compare to this one but judging this film alone...it's perhaps the worst pile of shite I've ever seen! Hollywood - stop thinking of $'s you greedy f*****g b******s and make some ORIGINAL films! I didn't know this was a remake, I went to the cinema today on the spur of the moment and now I regret watching this crap film. The only reason I didn't walk out is because all the girls in it are fit and one of them has a nice rack Big Grin Everything is bad about this film, acting, story, murder scenes, direction, editing etc. DO NOT WATCH...please! If you need a comparison of how bad it is, think of the recent The Hills Have Eyes remake but this is a billion times more shite.

Seen Deja Vue tonight.

Not what I expected - 'time/space folding' sci fi action thriller. It's okay, but boy is Val Kilmer looking fat but not as over weight as some of the other characters in the movie.

Imran Khan but Immanuel Kant.

Was looking at Play the other day, saw a flick I’m going to get on boxing day that i saw at the cinema– anyone seen Adrift before? It’s about a group of friends who get stranded off the side of their boat in the middle of the ocean with no way back onto the boat - which made me think what would you do??! I think I would hold out and wait to be rescued…

Soon i'll be able to say 'Back To The Future'.
If you ever want to know who was the 'fake enemy of the time' just watch Hollywood.

In 1985 it appears it was 'Terrorists from Libya'. Hahahaha. Cheers!!

Flags of our Fathers 9/10

Finest war film in the last 10 years in my opinion! Excellent all round ensemble acting with the exception of Barry Pepper and Ryan Phillippe who were totally magnificent. Another quality film from Clint Eastwood!

The Shawshank Redemption 10/10

The Hitcher 10/10

Night at the Museum 7/10

Perfume: Story of a Murderer
Uneven, disjointed and at two and a half hours, way too long. It gets so many things right, the performances, direction and photography are all top notch but all in all it doesn't work.
Apparently the author never wanted it to be made into a film, he was right.

Farce of the Penguins - Average, got a few chuckles, few and far between

Vertical limit - Above average entertainment, more than decent at best

D.E.B.S. - Rubbish

The astronaughts Wife - Actually enjoyed this thriller

In Her Shoes - Excellent, just excellent. Brilliant from start to finish. I well recommend this

The Terminator 2 - God know how many times i've seen this film and i love it to bits

Beer League - Extremely entertining and funny comedy. Well recommend this.

Goldeneye - Seen it before, certainly the best Brosnian Bond. Fantastic.

Miss Potter
Charming film about the life of Beatrix Potter. Very warmly photographed and a pleasure to watch.

It's a Boy/Girl Thing
Could have been quite good as it does have a couple of genuinely good scenes but it falls apart and the filmmakers just went the safe route. What could have been classed as good fun just boils down to glossy garbage.

Agree, some scenes were funny but overall a mediocre film. 5/10

Gei ba ba de xin (The Enforcer) 6/10

Just above average from Jet Li. Another crap over-dub ruined it and the fight scenes are few and far between although Jet demonstrates he is the master when he fights. The film was stolen by Miu Tsa who plays Jet's son Johnny. Excellent fighter for a 12 year old!

Rocky Balboa - This is a pretty decent film. Builds up very well to a fantastic finale. Very impressed with Stalone's acting and direction

X-Men: Last Stand - Did not enjoy this as much as i did when i saw it in the cinema. Certainly entertaining nontheless.

Coach Carter - Brilliantly entertaining and fun film. Enjoyed this from begining to end. Very good film this.

I went to see The Holiday, it was alright, better than I expected it would be, but there was too much focus on Cameron Dias and Jude Law, I wanted to see what Jack Black was up to!
