I watched it for the first time the other day and I was blown away. A truely devastatingly heartwrenching movie, this is a masterpiece of a film.

Agreed Anna, Jared Leto was fantastic in this movie. And as for Ellen Burstyn, her performance was nothing short of breath-taking.

This film should be shown to all high school students.

It's an amazing film, I have only ever watched it once and I don't think I will ever watch it again... I don't think my brain could take it.

Aahh so wanna see this film as its got my favourite actor in it Marlon Wayans, although have heard it can traumatise you after watching it.
Sounds really good though, might have to give it a try sometime

Sorry but this film was god awful, shock for the sake shock, It's as if Calvin Klein directed Trainspotting they are the best looking junkies ever. The scene at the begining shows the main character so desperate for money he's stole his mothers TV but back at his flat they have all this dj equipment, no chance, the story about his mother is good but the rest of it both sucks and blows!

I agree with KHarper, although it is also a 2 hour misery fest. Absolutley awful.
