I have a feeling this going to be wicked. Bryan Singer is very talented.
For his sake I'm hoping so.
If this flops you know that the X-Men fanboys will have more reasons to eat him up. On top of that he'll have the Superman fans hating his guts as well.

odd as it sounds im glad that they arnt actually pics of the man of steel himself, that'd blow a surprise for me! clark kent looks suitably dorkish however! ive got high hopes for this one, Singer is indeed very talented!

All I said was (pretty much summed)...:
Some X-Men fans are pissed off that Singer went off to do Superman. So if it fails I'm sure they'll attempt to rub his face in it...
It's not bad, but I think they should have gone for a darker blue and a lighter red. It looks a lot like the suit from Superman III when he goes 'evil'. I don't know if it's just the angle, but I think the 'S' shield should be a bit bigger, and I think the belt buckle 'S' is a bit overkill too.
Still, it looks OK and isn't the total disaster that all the fanboys were predicting.
