yes why is it always ..for example only this week after quite a moving film like Monsters Ball, do we have to see the picture shrunk to one side and then someone telling us about the next film or whats on next...are we not allowed to enjoy a film with end titles undisturbed by voice overs and picture in picture gimmicks.
we are not idiots channel 4..we can see whats on next via the papers..teletext..epg-....so why do you do it???????
and oh by the way ..dont tell us that this what the viewers want!!!
Agree with you martinj; very frustrating when trying to read the credits, etc. What really drives me mad is when you tune in to watch a programme or film and you have to sit thru 3 or 4 minutes of pap about a show that will air the following Tuesday, followed by Saturday's evening highlights The BBC are the worst for this. Why the hell do we have T.V. guides?
OR when a great musical score is on and they drag the commentary out - think they do it on purpose - Really hate it when the filmfour banner appears suddenly

The Sci-Fi channel does it the worst. Rather than squash the screen during the end credits, it bloody does it in the last few minutes of the film denument. It is seriously very annoying, ragardless of whether the film is crap or not, i still wanna here it rather than listen to some prat anounce what they are gonna show next. THE NERVE
