Japanese Ringu 2 spoilers needed!

Yoichi and Mai have just been transported to the well where Sadako originally met her fate. After clinging to the wall of the well for a little while they jump, at Yoichi's suggestion, into the waters below...

...and that is where the timer recording cut out. Ugh...

Ryuji suddenly appears at the bottom of the well with them and asks Yoichi to "give him his fear" and holds out his hand. Yoichi reluctantly takes it and is miraculously cured (sorry if my sarcasm comes through there).

At some point a rope randomly comes down for them to climb out, and eventually they emerge from the well, cut to them surfacing in the swimming pool. Yoichi says he isn't scared anymore.

That's pretty much the end.

One last thing, Okezaki, the reporter who didn't watch the video for that girl ends up in a mental assylum and the girl is haunting him (not Sadaka, the girl whos tape he didn't watch).

But as they are climbing out of the well, ignoring Ryuji's advice Mai looks back and lo, up from the waters comes Sadako.

Its quite a menacing scene, escecially when she starts climb up the walls after them.

Then there is a nice little scare. Then its pretty much then end and leaves you feeling deflated and none the wiser and hoping Ring 0 is better (which it is...just).

Glad to hear it. I really want to see Ring 0, it's the only one in the franchise left for me to see!
