I've decided to re-post this because this forum doesn't tollerate the most minor of swear words and i also thought of that excellent pun! Who watches the Watchmen? not any of us any time soon, as Paramount have pulled the rug from beneath its feet and seemingly scrapped the project. insert your own swear word here...
this is the worst possible news if you aske me! "V for Vendetta" is a better comic than "Watchmen", but i thought "Watchmen" was going to be a better film by miles. Guess ill never know! incidently, nice swear!

I have a hard time picking out my favourite between VfV and Watchmen, but Watchmen won it for me by a smidge (and I stress smidge) anyhoo, I guess it is best left untouched in a way, much as I love watching and criticising comic book adaptations, I really do love to keep a select few confined to pages. Adaptations are becoming something of epidemic anyway.
everything that Alan Moore wrote/created/saved in comics have been shoddy films. From Hell was ok, League of Extriadinary Gentlemen was terrible...i just hope "V..." doesnt suck!
