Tv companies need to stop cutting scenes from films and show them as they were intended. Even Grease has been attacked... part of the girls in the bedroom smocking and the advert comes on singing brusha brusha
i know that they cut the scene in "predator" of the predator tearing out and cleaning up a guys skull and spine. also, they sometimes cut the eye-removal scene from "Terminator".

The abyss springs to mind, I bought the special addition and see why Cameron cut out what he did. All that tsunami stuff and WWIII paranoia is pretty hard to stomach.

i know this isnt what youre on about but dont you think its so annoying have adverts in the middle of movies then tiny bit get cut out and the whole feeling of the film gets ruined by really cheesy happy adverts!!
Channel 5 showing of Starship Troopers. Seriously why the fook show an 18 rated film at 9.00pm edited. It should be shown at 10.00pm. And what was really funny was that they cut a lot of scenes in the film, like the flying bugs decapitation when they had to stand of agains't the hord of bugs as well as scene where the bugs chop to bits some of the guys but yet they show that Farmboy getting shot in the head, having his arm broken, as well as Jake Busy having his hand penetrated by the knife by Clancy Brown [the sergent]. TV really have to stop doing this, it really does distract from the film.
