If you compare it to a ceaning bill marg it is very reasonable! My lady charges £1.50 per pound of clothes but charges £1 for mens shirts (my bruvs). I have to watch my mamas though ..she wears a lot of bonne marche clothes which are thick material and weigh a ton lol! I like the idea of the price drop marg..on average my ironing comes to about £15 every 3 weeks which at a fiver a week is good, she hangs them on hangers and they are covered with plastic, like the sort in cleaners.

I could afford somebody to iron for me suppose if I really wanted to but I just think its something I can quite easily do myself. I dont iron my son, daughter or husbands clothes - they do it themselves. So really, when you are just ironing for one its a doddle. I know there are a couple of places near where I live which do an ironing service but I just think I could do something better with the money than paying somebody to do something Im very capable of doing myself

ooh I am capable but I hate ironing...so I have someone to do it...I am capable of cooking but eat out a lot...I dont like cooking..I am capable of walking in front of a bus but dont want to! If I could not afford these things I would not spend on them...but an aroning service for me takes a great burden away..I am out at work 12 hours a day sometimes...so do my own ironing?? nah thanks!!

I don't blame anyone for getting their ironing done or having a cleaner if they can afford it and, if you are working all day, there aren't enough hours in the day to do it all when you get home from work.

I can manage the cleaning but would love to have a gardener as, having a bad back, is something I cannot manage so it is a bit on the wild side/

I do try to keep my place tidy..it is clean but gets very dusty!
