How interesting that not one single bloke irons his lady's undergarments whereby on a similar post there are numerous ladies admitting to ironing blokes boxers. Doesnt this speak volumes

I REFUSE TO IRON ANYTHING, IT REDUCES MY CARBON FOOTPRINT, MIND YOU I'VRE HAD THIS ATTITUDE A LONG TIME BEFORE THE TERM CARBON FOOTPRINT WAS HEARD OF.

I'm glad to see you still typing in Caps BIB.

I dont think womens knickers need ironing do they? Is this more about whether men can be imposed upon to do meaningless things?

some people iron everything including tea towells, sheets, towells, sox, undies - I personally dont iron any of the above mentioned items and anything else that looks ok without being ironed - I cant see the point in ironing for the sake of ironing - life is way too short for boring stuff like that

I think Majentajo summmed it up very nicely by saying that in a similar post there were several females admitting to ironing mens boxers but seems that men do not carry out the same task for their ladiesn and I agree, it does speak volumes

Why do people bother ironing underwear or socks anyway?
If you did 'get lucky' I am sure no-one would think "dear me,he/she doesn't iron their underwear very well"

Ironing tea towels kills any bugs that dared to survive the washing process, so I iron tea towels.

Unless you use the tea towell just once and then put it in the washer, I think they are unhygenic - ironing them might well kill any bugs that survive the washing process but use them and leave them to dry as is often the case and Im sure that would be a breeding ground for bacteria. I have a dishwasher and dont have the need to dry dishes therefore dont have any tea towells.

I never dry dishes either aloo but a kitchen just isn't a kitchen without a tea towel!

It kinda hangs there as decoration.

when I think back to my pre dishwasher days I think I usually let the dishes drain and sort of drip dry themselves
