I'm having broadbandy type troubles with my former ISP. I wanted a cheaper broadband deal and they have still got a tag on my line, which means that no other ISP can accept me a customer! They didn't even give me a MAC code. The tag is usually removed from the line in 10-15 days but it has been about 45 days and I am getting internet withdrawal symptoms!
I am typing this on my parent's PC, just in case you were wondering!
OFCOM are already involved and if it doesn't get sorted by the close of play tomorrow, I will involvw Watchdog!
Anyway, a hello to the guys and a to the lovely ladies!

Cheers Pam.
Trouble is, the ISP's customer services line is only open 9am-6pm and I am at work 8.30am-6.30/7pm. Although it is an 0800 number, whenever I call the number on my mobile, I will get charged and then I have to wait 20-30 minutes to get through to someone. I called customer services 3 weeks ago on my mobile during a quiet period at work and once I got through and explained the situation to someone, I ran out of credit!
Called ISP last Monday, they said tag will be lifted "within 5 working days" which is tomorrow...I will try new ISP tomorrow and if they cannot accept me, I will raise hell! < supposed to be a devil-ish smilie

They are quite awful and the worrkload is quite heavy in the run up to Xmas. However, they cannot spy on my 100% of the time so I may do what I did last Monday and go home in their van whenever I have a quiet period (usually 2-3pm) and make the call from there! Although most employees dread Mondays, they are the quietest day of the week for us couriers!
