The Brut made me laugh, I remember it well! Two ladies fragrances I used to use are no longer on the market, or at least I don't think they are... Aqua Manda, came in a brown glass bottle with oranges and orange blossom on it and Stowaway, Sleepy Lagoon, bit like impulse now but more expensive. My mother used to use, Coty L'aimant and grandmother 4711 eau de cologne. My first real perfumes were like you, Estee Lauder Youth Dew, and yes it smells like pee on me too! and White Linen though for some strange reason my mother thought I liked Chanel No 5 and insisted on buying it when she went away. I loved trying perfumes on the way home from school at our local House of Fraser store but had no particular alliegence to any one. I wore a lovely essential oil one from our local "Hippy" shop as my mother used to call it, the shop is still in existence today, owned by the same family, it labelled itself as unisex and I delighted at my mother's discomfort every time I said the word! The oil smelled like the taste of floral gums, mmm light and fragrant.
I will probably hate it now but still going to buy some
