It's going to take me something like another 15 years working to pay mine off. So there's a chance I will have my own kid at uni before I'm done with the fecker. *sulks*

Graduated nearly 5 years ago now so the interest is building up!

Thing is I'd have to pay it back at a rate of £80 a month and I can't spare that! Mad

congrats freckle Big Grin

btw, no matter how long it takes to pay back they don't charge proper interest, just the rate of inflation so that the value of the money you borrowed stays the same.

Well done Freckle. Present Its nice to wipe the slate clean with a long term debt. Smile

Never applied for student financing myself, as I had it easy living with my parents during my studies.

However, the debts have started to emerge since becoming a homeowner. Paying a £1500 credit card bill off @ the mo...but at least its an interest free balance transfer. Might change it for another interest free balance transfer when the time runs out or I might get a personal loan & borrow a bit more so I can get me kitchen done. Santa

Yay! I'm free of the loan!

No I'm not earning big bucks... in fact to pay it off has nearly killed me financially. Amoungst other things.
