self-defence classes to be taught in schools I don't see why not

I agree I think it is a good idea having been attacked myself it might have helped me defend myself ,but to be honest I just froze I was so scared

My husband got one from the police station after I was attacked thankfully I never had to use it

I agree - basic self defense would be good - for boys and girls

Why haven't the governemnet intorduced this already I just hope that from my thread it gets amde law

I agree tis a good idea, however, if everybody has these skills maybe the yobs will become more violent to compensate

I didn't think about that. Good point. Yeah it's a shame yobs spoil things, for example where I live and near where I live I have saw many bus shelters and phone box doors smashed sadly

very interesting LIL..silver car? that bit made me laugh in an ironic way. I have had a bag stolen off of me while it has been over my shoulder...heres what they do: they ride past you on a push bike and go to ask you something, then as you turn towards them, they cut the straps off your bag that quick with scissors and are well gone before you come to your senses! thats why when women wear bags as a sacthel style, they are ripe for the picking so to speak

Thats what happened to me the person came from behind me ,and put their hand over my mouth I went like jelly I was really frightened

I was attacked 20 years ago bagel I was 37 years old then ,to be honest I dont like talking about my age on here, as a fm who posts mainly on off topic called me an old bag along with a whole string of other insults ,my health is not great as I have Lupus (SLE) I was diagnosed 7years ago and have been very ill with it but I am in remission at the moment ,but it has affected how I live in so many ways but I am so lucky I have a great family who are always there for me, and my lovely forum friends on here who I chat to everyday ,another long post sorry
