Anyone got any scars that seem to start hurting for no reason? Anyone been on here for over a year will no doubt remember me moaning forever about falling off my bike and badly hurting my knee. My knee is covered in lots of wee scars, kinda like a road map and 2 days ago they started hurting. I want to know why.

Frown

I have a scar precariously situated on my right thigh on the inside. I couldn't ever recall how I got it though, its been there for a few years. It doesn't hurt though.

Eek They started hurting after sitting out in the garden all day at work. So yes, Switcheroo, you may be right.

And Matt...........how can you not know when you got it? Sounds like another bike injury to me *nods*

I don't have scars but I broke my hand when I was at school and shattered my thumb. In the winter it really aches....

the gnarliest scar I have is on my hand. actually, now that i look at it I have loads of scars on my hand. *note to self - picking up a soldering ironby the soldering end is never a good idea. even if you did think it was just a screw driver....*

it was from a rope swing over a river incident (the problem arose from the fact there was also sharp plastic thing attached to the rope) which i had to swim back up stream cradling as blood spewed out. I felt all harrison ford esque as I fought against the raging french torrents.
It gets a bit stiff occasionally but i just pretend it's a battle scar from my pirate days.

my gosh. that is an incredibly long scar stoy. and doesn't really answer your question...

I have an unexplained bruise on my leg. It's about 4 inches across and bloody painful. I do believe I did it last night when I had one too many sherries... although I don't remember hitting or banging into everything. I remember getting up on the karaoke again Red Face and I do remember spilling a pint down me but thats it Confused

I've asked Mr Sam whether I damaged myself falling out of bed but he says I couldn't possible of done that cos I spent most of the night spread out like a star fish. So I don't know how I did it...

It hurts though.

Not in my oven the dam thing doesn't shut properly (god my house is great) and no heat stays in. in the winter when I ave it on the kitchen is about 120 degrees (gas mark 5) and takes a layer of skin off your hands if you go within 1 foot of it.

Yeah... Well i'd like an extension with a new kitchen so we are working towards that. I'd like to get my bills paid off first then I can think about maybe doing other things which involve lots of money Smile
