The Monkees are the best boy band because they were the first (and the world hoped the last) and made a good job of being an artificial, made up band.

Any that followed are worse than second-hand toilet paper.

Strictly speaking, McFly are not a boy band - definition of boy band being a group of soppy, wet youths with little musical talent who can lollop about a stage in a relatively syncronised way.

McFly actually play instruments, however, because they did the unthinkable and murdered The Undertones' Teenage Kicks (a track which anyone with any nowse about music would say is inimitable), should be thrown in with the rest of the no hoper, boy bands.

ps It's a good job I'm in a good mood or I would have laid into boy bands big style

I think McFly are the best cos their songs are catchy and fun, they can actually sing & play instruments! And A1 are the worst cos they're just rubbish!

And worst..... Prob say Westlife although ive probably like all of em at some point lol....

Boy bands are the scourge of the music world. They exist solely to create revenue and possess no musical talent or creativity whatsoever.

I'm not that keen on any boybands tbh, but I voted Another Level cos I loved their song 'Freak Me'. If Blue had been included, I would have voted for them cos I used to like Blue.

For worst I voted for Boyzone. It was a tough decision to choose whether to vote for Boyzone or Westlife. No particular reason really. I've never liked either band.

I forgot about Blue! Sorry.

Best boyband? Does such a thing exist? AND you missed off New Kids on the Block .... just saying, because my newly pubescent hormones made me love them .. and Bros the year before. I cringe now though, CRINGE I TELLS YA!

Westlife are by far the best band especially back in the day lol! Yeah there fans have grown up now but they still have seel out tours!

Hanson were never a band just a 1 hit wonder! lol

aw boybands are harmless. i can't get worked up about them just because they don't sing their own songs, play their own instruments and write their own songs. little girls love them and they churn out a catchy little tune once in a while...

i don't listen to "boyband music" myslef really. (unless we are counting mcfly who i don't really think count as a boyband but what the hey) but i can understand how maybe the teenie boppers love them and i am not ashamed to think back to my own twelve year old days of liking boybands... there is a lot worse music out there...

It's such a hard decision... I just don't know...

Best boyband - Westlife because they have been around so long and their songs are still brilliant and I loved them back in 1999 and I'm still a fan now even though I'm 19.

Worst boyband - Busted as I can't stand them but that is my opinion of them.

best - bsb coz they are just great

worst- bros oz they r just stupied

Choosing the best boy band, is like being asked which of my legs I'd rather have ripped off.

Best Boyband are Take That without a doubt! just cuz the are amazing! and the concert was the best ever! and the no exaggeration!

Worst have gotta be One True Voice but they aren't up there so i think i put Hanson cuz they're ugly!
