April 22nd, 2008... Brian Johnson was interviewed this morning on DC 101 FM (Washington DC/Virginia) and confirmed that the band is now finished recording their long awaited new album, and have left Vancouver. Angus & Malcolm remained in Vancouver to assist with the mixing of the new album with Mike Fraser and producer Brendan O'Brien.

I've just found on ticketmaster that they only have one tour date booked (which is strange). Sat 08/11/08 in Liverpool.

Thats a band called Livewire they are an AC/DC tribute act, they even dress the same Eek

I have seen them in London and they are very good, google them on Youtube they have loads of live songs on there that you can see Thumbs Up

Angus and Malcolm have now completed the mixing and editing and the album is now finished.

The next stage is marketing, cover design and release date, i reckon some time during June will be the start of news into the media and interviews from the band....

Its happening folks its nearly here Clapping Clapping

anyone else find it hard to tell Airbourne apart from AC/DC?

when the vocals come in you can only just tell it's not Bon Scott or Brian Johnson, but otherwise they're a carbon copy.

I could tell AC/DC apart from everyone, although i do know what you mean.

Another band whos style is the same and the singer is a deadringer for Bon is a band called Rhino Bucket
