"See you on doomsday!"- Sadegh Hedayat's suicide note
Did NOT agree with the poll of 100 Greatest Albums. But Radiohead are a great band! But "OK Computer" the greatest ever album? Hmmm. And why the hell was U2 at no.2?? U2 are possibly one of the most over-rated bands ever. And that goes for Oasis as well! Whats so special about them? Theres nothing "original" about their music for goodness sake! Why do so many rave about these bands?? Each to their own i suppose! Anyway, heres some of my own personal favourite albums: Love - Forever Changes (1967) . The Doors - The Doors (1967) Sophe Lux - Waking the Mystics (2007) Arcade Fire - Funeral (2004) . The Beatles - Sgt.Pepper (1967) The Beatles - Revolver (1966) Captain Beefheart - Trout Mask Replica (1970).

Now that's something you don't see every day. I had this on vinyl and it's probably the most "difficult" album I've ever listened to. Heavy going, but an interesting choice nevertheless.

Bloomfield, Kooper, Stills Paul Butterfield Blues Band: East West Beatles: Abbey Road, White Album, Revolver, John Lennon: Plastic Ono Band, Imagine Bob Dylan: Highway 61, Blonde on Blonde, Bring it all back home, Blood on the Tracks, Planet Waves The Band: Music from Big Pink, The Band, Rock of Ages Greatful Dead: Live/Dead Emmy Lou Harris: Wrecking Ball Steve Earle: Jerusalem, The Revolution Starts Now Lucinda Williams: Car Wheels on a gravel Road Nils Lofgren: Nils Lofgren, Cry Tough, I came to dance, Night after night Stones: Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed, Sticky Fingers Neil Young: Tonights the night, Everybody knows this is nowhere, On the Beach, After the Gold Rush, Rust never sleeps, Judy Collins: Who knows where the time goes
My favourite is The Wall by Pink Floyd. It is approiate in it's lyrical content now as it was then. The sign of good albums that they sound as good now as they did when they are first released and still sound modern and don't age
